Funny Thought: What if the Harry Potter cast dress up has their characters (or someone else) from Harry Potter for Halloween?

It’s so hard to be “the bigger person”. You get criticized and you stop yourself from criticizing just to end up being criticized all over again.

I’m getting old.

I noticed that I prefer staying in rather than going out (during weekends) nowadays. Like weekends and me time are too precious to waste on something like going to the mall. x_x In my defense, though, June & July weekends were mostly spent with PHP and friends and whatnot. I guess I’m just enjoying the time I actually have to myself. Am I being selfish? Don’t you have to be in sync with yourself first before even thinking of sharing yourself with others?

You know what’s crazy? How probably half the world counted down to the release of Deathly Hallows part 2.

Grabe mga online interaction platforms ngayon ‘no? Payabangan nalang. Parang sasabihin ni Facebook, “Ah, Google+, may video chat ka ah? Sige, ako rin.” O kaya sasabihin ni Rockmelt, “Ah Firefox, may mga add-ons ka ah? Ako hindi na add-on, built-in na talaga!” Sabay reply si Firefox, “Paki ko sayo, Rockmelt? Problema ko ngayon si Google Chrome kasi ang linis ng itsura niya. Ako rin gagawin kong ganun itsura ko.”

Random June 9 Thoughts

- I can still chase that dream. There’s still time. (repeat x infinity)

- WTF happened to my Tumblr dashboard?

Ano ba talagang gusto kong gawin sa buhay ko?

While going through my officemates’ profiles…

I realized.

Damn. What the forks are we doing working in a corporation?

Answer: Duh. It pays the bills.

But what the forks. I have two officemates who are kick-ass photographers, one who’s a cosplayer, two others who definitely sing better than me, one who took up a freakin’ creative course in UP… and then, yeah, there’s me. I’d describe myself as feeling-performer, feeling-director, and part-time Hogwarts Philippines student. Hohoho.

Like what the forks are we doing here? WE SHOULD BE PURSUING OUR PASSIONS! But I guess, somehow, that’s a good thing too? So we don’t think of our passions as a chore (since we don’t get to do it everyday)? So there will still be that sense of wonder and excitement?

I’m just trying to make myself feel better. :))

So amazing. We’re like the Hannah Montanas of the corporate world. :))

Random AM Thought

My quarterly check-up is nearing so I can’t help but think back on how my life was before. That made me re-realize (yes, there is such a word) just how blessed I was (or am).

That you will be seeing almost all the actors from the past 6 Harry Potter movies in the last 2 movies? HOLY CHIZZ, THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE GEEKTASTICALLY STAR-STUDDED PRODUCTION.

Personality Through Reblogs

I have this theory that most of the time, whenever people reblog (random) stuff on Tumblr (by that, I mean sans the well-worded text blogs — just really random memes, pictures, etc), they usually give you a peek into their personality, or how they are in real life. I’m not sure if that’s really the whole objective of Tumblr but that’s how I see it and I think it’s amazing.

Like awhile ago, I had this moment (which I sort of get a lot when going through my dash) when I saw this reblog done by one of my friends — it was an image with a quote and a background of a girl wearing Chucks. I was like, “Wow, that quote has nothing whatsoever to do with that background. Whatever made my friend decide to reblog that?” And then I thought of her and how she is IRL and suddenly it made sense. She likes love quotes. And Chuck Taylors. And rainbows. And all those cute stuff. I’ve seen her real life rainbow Chucks. So yes, of course she would reblog that!

And then there are those friends whom I thought I knew but have been reblogging things I never thought they’d reblog. That made me realize that, okay, I don’t know everything there is to know about this person. Like, wow, he’s actually sensitive or wow, she’s so classy. Or WTH WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT YOU NEVER MENTIONED THIS TO ME WHAT IS WITH ALL THESE TRAGIC LOVE QUOTES. Haha!

I wonder if people see me the same way as well. Hmm.

Anyhooz, that’s all. Just wanted to think out loud. How about you, then? Ever notice this sorta thing? Or are you thinking, oh Abby, you’re so stupid, that’s actually the whole point of Tumblr? :))

Random Thoughts

- Someone should invent a tool somewhat like a backscratcher, but instead of scratching, would help spread lotion on unreachable places on your back. ‘Cause applying lotion on your back by yourself is just damn hard. Just saying.

- Warner Bros. should release the HP7 DVD as one. With that, I mean, merge the two parts, make it into one movie, and sell it as one DVD. That would be 5 whole hours of my life well spent. Plus a couple more hours worth of BTS footage. Oh, that would be so awesome.
